Donations of personal care items required, advanced registration suggested

Come help CityFam at our second annual Blessing Bags event! On Saturday, December 15, volunteers will assemble hundreds of individual bags filled with a variety of personal care items to be distributed to the needy throughout Baltimore leading up to Christmas. Handing out a Blessing Bag to someone gives you a very real way to meet immediate needs by providing them with some basic supplies such as toiletries, water, food and warmth this holiday season.

In order for this to be a HUGE success in this Season Of Giving, our hope is that our members will contribute generously by purchasing the items below. Please…Only new, travel size and only those listed. Cash donations are accepted via PayPal at [email protected].

There is an Amazon Wish List which is where you will find an easy access list to almost everything needed and the items will ship directly to the cityfam office!

ITEMS NEEDED:
Body wash (not soap bars), shampoo, conditioner, lotion, deodorant, razors, combs, hand warmers, sanitizing wipes, chap stick, Emory boards, men’s and women’s socks, gallon Ziplock bags (as many as possible), bottles of water, and snack bars (i.e. granola bars, breakfast bars, etc.).
