Get to know Baltimore beyond the harbor and standard tourist attractions.  Come alone, bring friends, or bring family.  Whether you are on a weekend getaway, local and looking for a new activity with friends, considering moving to the city and want to learn more first, or just want to get out, join us.

This ride includes popular sites along the Baltimore Harbor waterfront, culture in the city center, and the history, legacy, and culture of nearby historically black communities,  landmarks, and  popular hubs of today’s movers and shakers. This is a one of a kind casual tour that aims to exude positive vibes, treat our communities and the residents with respect, and nourish the mind and belly.  Maybe you will even make a new friend or two.

What to Wear:
Feel free to be stylish as long as your fashions are bicycle ready and safe.  Long scarves or fabrics that might easily tangle in the wheels or fall off are discouraged. Closed toe shoes are encouraged.

Start Time:
The ride will leave promptly at 10:00am. NO REFUNDS will be provided to those who miss the ride due to late arrival under any circumstance.

 Tour Length:

The ride is slightly less than 10 miles and should take no more than 3 hours. Allow 1 1/2- 2 hours for brunch. Brunch is optional.  If you need to leave after the ride and can not join us for lunch, we understand, just let us know before the ride.

 The Tour:

First, we will meet to allow those who need a rental to pick up their bikes. We will then do a few introductions and jump on our bikes for the tour at 10:00am. After the ride we will move on to brunch. Both the brunch and ride should end by 2:00pm. Additional instructions about the meeting location will be provided once you make your reservation.

Ride Support:

Not to worry, we have you covered.  Our ride mechanics and other ride support are also residents and know the city well.

 Bike Rentals:

You may use a private bike shop or Baltimore Bike share. The ride starts at the Baltimore Bike share stand. You may rent a bicycle there before the ride. Bikes are available on a first come first serve basis.  The cost of bike share rentals are approximately $10.  Note that Baltimore Bike share is a separate entity. We have no control over their equipment or pay systems. If you have trouble downloading the app (recommended) or with your rental please contact Baltimore Bike share, www.bmorebikeshare.com

Send us a message if you need a HELMET or would like a list of local bike shops where you may find a rental.  We recommend making reservations at least 48 HOURS in advance if you need to rent a bicycle from a local shop.

The price of bicycle rentals, bikeshare or otherwise, are NOT INCLUDED.

Brunch:
The price of brunch is NOT INCLUDED. The menu includes a variety of delicious brunch items including vegan and vegetarian options.  The price ranges from $9- $35 not including taxes and beverage.  Feel free to spend as much or as little as you like.

Waiver:
All riders must sign a liability waiver before the ride departs.

Reservation/ advance purchase:
This is a reservation only ride.  If others wish to join you on the ride please ask them to register separately via Eventbrite
