Event Details

Hosted by Baltimore Motorcycle Collective

Casual, bikes optional

Tickets $5, $10 including bike

It’s time to roll the bikes out of the shop and into the hangar across the alley for our first annual Season Opener and Balt Bike Buildoff Show. We have had an amazing first year and want to kick off this riding season strong. We have been building a rich community at the Collective. This isn’t like any bike show you’ve been to. It’s not about the motorcycles, it’s about the people working on and building them. Not only will we have the dozen+ Balt Bikes from our buildoff competition, but all the bikes at the show belong to friends of the Collective. These are people who are passionate about their bikes. There will also be concessions, music and some local vendors to talk to, including some local businesses that are rider owned. Some of whom include Steve the Barber of Hairway to Steven who will be giving slick haircuts so you can look sharp for you pictures with your bike in our very aesthetically pleasing venue.

For those who aren’t familiar with our first annual Balt Bike Buildoff, it is a competition where participants had 3 months and $1000 to build a custom motorcycle that at least survives a 100 mile ride together. Our ride is on April 6th, the day before the show so all the builders will be eager to show you what they have built. The purpose of the competition is to push the builders’ limits so be prepared for some very creative custom bikes. If you are considering building a bike next year, you should make it out to see what your competition will be like!

The show is located in the huge 100 year old hangar right across from the Collective. It is certainly going to be a sight to see. A very photogenic location and terrific place to take a picture of your bike. If you would like to feature your bike at the show, contact Ethan at (443) 873-6099. Also, let me know if you are interested in vending. We are looking for rider owned businesses in Baltimore such as Zeke’s Coffee, Baltimore Tattoo Museum and Hairway to Steven Barber Shop.

Admission is a $5 donation to the Collective, $10 if you are bringing a bike. You are welcome to try to sell a bike here too. There will be a used bike corral and it is the same price as entering a bike in the show. PLEASE share this event so we have a bangin turnout!!
