Draughts & Laughs is outside across the street from Checkerspot Brewing Company for a night of Stand-up comedy w/ social distancing.

Tickets are Tickets are $15 in advance or can be purchased at the door for $20.*

The show will be outside and across the street from the brewery. You will have to bring your own chairs and tables. We will be practicing social distancing! All sales are final unless event is canceled due to inclement weather. All weather decision will be made by 5:30PM on day of the event.

Show Time is 8:00PM. Show seating will begin at 7PM. The brewery opens at noon on Saturdays.

Food service and full drinks service is available. No Outside Food or Drink!

Headliner: Shane Torres is a stand up comedian, writer, actor, and podcaster. Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, Shane landed in Portland, Oregon and began his comedy career. Shane has performed on festivals all over the globe including Montreal’s Just For Laughs, Comedy Central’s Clusterfest, San Francisco Sketchfest, Bonnaroo, Outsidelands, Bumbershoot, Moontower Comedy Festival in Austin, Red Clay Comedy Festival, High Plains in Denver, Laughingskull, New York Comedy Festival, Laughfest, and many more.

His television appearances to date have included Conan twice, Comedy Central Half Hour Special, IFC’S Comedy Bang Bang, NBC’S Last Comic Standing (barely), Tru Tv’s Comedy Knockout, NBC’s Red Nose Day, and Ron White’s Comedy Salute To The Troops on CMT. He has been heard on such popular podcasts such as Savage Love, All Fantasy Everything, Comedy Bang Bang, Doug Loves Movies and Bertcast. He tours frequently across the states and can often be found performing in a comedy club, theaters, and music venues near you. Mike Moran is a Baltimore-based stand up comedian, writer, and podcaster who has performed with Michael Ian Black, Creed Bratton from the Office, Robert Klien, and many more. He contributes to Skeptic Magazine, and The Hard Times, and has been a DJ at Q1370 in Baltimore, as well as a longtime member of the Baltimore Improv Group. Mike hosts the Confessional Podcast, and recently founded, A Support Group for Depression and Anxiety where we eat Cereal, a community, and weekly Zoom meeting to help those who deal with mental health.

Kandace Saunders made her comedic debut in 2006 during a comedy competition at the DC Improv. Although, she didn’t win, she didn’t get booed, and people laughed. So for Kandace, that was enough to pursue a career in standup comedy. Kandace’s sarcasm, and quick wit, coupled with her ability to turn life into “extremely laughable situations”, has allowed her to become one of today’s fastest rising comedians.

Dark Mark is one of America’s most original moralists and major catalyst in the Baltimore comedy world. Host and Producer:Mike Quindlen is a Philly guy (not one of the clowns who fight at sporting events) who lives in Baltimore now & tells jokes & promotes comedy shows.
