Celebrate with, MD SPCA staff, volunteers, adoptable pets and friends like you who are dedicated to improving the lives of pets and people in our community by attending this year’s Festival for the Animals taking place on Saturday, April 6 in historic, Druid Hill Park.

Bring your kids—human and those with fur, and we’ll provide the fun, and lots of it. Come join us for:

-our annual walk-a-thon
-pet demonstrations and contests
-kid activities
-food truck row
-merchant row
-musical entertainment
-a yard sale of new and gently used pet items
-adoptable pets
-and smile for the camera at our photo booth.

That’s not all. This year there’s a new twist. It’s our 150th anniversary, so we’re holding a human (and pet) costume contest – come dressed to impress in a costume from your favorite decade from the 1860’s to the present!

The Festival for the Animals is presented by M&T Bank and produced by Media Star Promotions. Pets and people in our community are counting on your participation and support to help us reach our goal of providing a wide-range of services to 20,000 pets and 25,000 a year by 2020.
