It’s that time of year again: GIN RIOT!

The Gin Riot is named after The Baltimore Gin Riot, which occured on October 4, 1808. Hundreds of sailors and civilians stormed Hampstead Hill ( Now Patterson Park) to burn gallons of gin to protest British taxation. Besides being an epic waste of gin, the Baltimore Gin Riot was one of the key moments leading up to the war of 1812….

And now it’s one of the best events of the year. It’s free. It’s tough. But most importantly it’s for everyone. There is a pace and a partner for everyone, no matter your speed or running ability.

Race will start at 5pm at Rash Field. Show up early, snag your bib and find a new friend and off we go: 6 laps of PR day, along the harbor to Patterson Park, and up and down our Friday hill x3. Additional route details to follow!

Our after party will once again be hosted at Johnny Rad’s Pizzeria Tavern, supported by our favorite gin company, Barr Hill Gin with fun cocktails and Brooks Running for running and prize swag! We will be raffling off prizes, and your entry plus any new friend you bring are points towards the prize – so RECRUIT RECRUIT RECRUIT!

This is one of our most favorite nights of the year – A guaranteed fun time your money back.*

*Oh also, did we mention – it’s free.99!!!
