Please join us as we celebrate 21 years of “LIGHTing the Way to a Brighter Tomorrow”. LIGHT Health and Wellness Comprehensive Services, Inc. (LIGHT) will mark this  extremely special milestone “Come Board the LIGHT Train” Gala to be held at Baltimore’s Horseshoe Casino.

For more than 20 years through the promotion of health, wellness and education, LIGHT has been at the forefront of serving women, children and families whose lives have been impacted by HIV, poverty, substance abuse, mental health and trauma. At the core of our infrastructure, our child care center has been a safe haven and a beacon of shining LIGHT for the communities and residents of Baltimore City; providing a healthy start in educating some of the city’s most vulnerable and at-risk children. It is LIGHT’s vision to ensure the support and continuity of the family unit, and Be the LIGHT that will help others see!

On Saturday, October 19, 2019, LIGHT will host its 21^st Anniversary Gala at the Horseshoe Casino in Baltimore City. The Gala will serve as LIGHT’s principal fundraising event for the year, benefitting the development and expansion of our child care and family support service initiatives. We need you to “Come Board the LIGHT Train” so that this vision comes to fruition. We will be honoring Lt. Governor Boyd Rutherford and anticipate having other Marylanders and local celebrities to share in this day with us, including Congressman Elijah Cummings who will present our top honorees, Deborah Phelps  and Dr. Leana Wen.

 For this special year, we are hopeful that you will consider supporting LIGHT and our fundraising efforts for the Gala by joining in as SpotLIGHT Sponsor.  We anticipate the gala will draw as many as 300 attendees from the public and private sectors, including elected officials, corporate leaders, community partners and private citizens.
