About #LinkedInLocal

What started out in 4 cities with 4 people in June 2017 has now grown into #LinkedInLocal events in over 100+ cities covering every single continent. #LinkedInLocal is a meetup concept originally created by Anna McAfee with the purpose to meet the online LinkedIn connections face-to-face, offline. It was then developed by Erik EklundAlexandra Galviz, and Manu Goswami who added themes, speaker panels and workshop elements with the purpose to unite people from all walks of life, in one facilitated event, to genuinely get to know the humans behind the LinkedIn profiles, and connect beyond the job titles, business cards and company names.

These events are curated to bring our tribes together and remind ourselves why it’s important to connect out of the digital world. How our job titles, degrees and backgrounds are just a fraction of who we are and that we have the capacity to be more and to do more when surrounded by the right people.

What to Expect at This Event

Little girls with dreams become women with vision. This month #LinkedInLocalBmore is celebrating women from our own city. Women that are hustling everyday. Women that embody girl power. Women that slay their days. During this panel discussion we will feature female small business owners and operators in Baltimore. Our panelists include Julia Nyman, Realtor at Red Cedar Real Estate, Alana Roach, Owner of Explorations of Self, Raina Smallwood, Co-Owner of Cedar & Cotton, and Colby Staley, Owner of Colby’s Clothesmobile and Colby’s Clothesmobile Garage.
