The purpose of the event is to invite potential new businesses, investors, developers, and realtors to witness the potential of the underutilized spaces on the Belair Road corridor through a popup model tour. Local artist and designer Paige Orpin will be reactivating 5 vacant commercial spaces into the types of business residents would like to see in the community such as a bookstore, coffee shop, yoga studio, youth related space, vintage clothing store, art gallery and record shop. The spaces will be open to tour, with available workshops and items for purchase.

The walking tour will commence in the 3200 block of Belair Road and will end at BENI (3545 Belair Road). Participants are encourage to leisurely stroll the 3200-3500 blocks between 5-7 pm, visiting existing business and the new “popup” installations along the way. A networking and happy hour event will be waiting for them at the end of the tour, between 6-8 pm. This is a rain or shine event. Please dress accordingly.

No minimum age requried unless you plan to partake in the happy hour festivites.

 

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Plenty of street parking & some metered parking that ends at 6 pm.
