Baltimore, are you ready? We can’t wait to unveil Mickalene Thomas’ two-story immersive installation—the inaugural Robert E. Meyerhoff and Rheda Becker Biennial Commission. The work transforms the BMA’s East Lobby into a chic living room for the City, reflecting Thomas’ signature aesthetic inspired by 1970s and 80s design.

The evening features:

• A performance by female duo, Blkottonkandy
• DJ Trillnatured, spinning retro and contemporary favorites from house music and disco to R&B and soul and much more
• Custom nail art at the Power Decals pop-up nail shop in collaboration with Cocoa Hippie and Create A Vibe Studio
• A signature cocktail designed by Mickalene Thomas
• And light reception prepared by Gertrude’s Chesapeake Kitchen
