Each year since 2015, Technical.ly, the local tech news organization, has organized SUPER MEETUP, a gathering of local technical meetup group organizers and their members.

Usually Super Meetup is an in-person event with dozens of meetups and hundreds of attendees. Clearly that ain’t working during a pandemic. Instead we’re doing a tight 90-minute virtual activation, including a few short lightning tech talks and trivia, including computer history, internet culture and local tech community facts.

Yes, it’ll be another Zoom link. But it’s gonna be fun, we swear.

4:30pm-5:30pm EDT: Trivia! (Details to be emailed before the event!)

(We recommend downloading the Kahoot trivia app to improve the experience!)

WHO: This is organized by Technical.ly but featuring meetup groups and tech firms. Though we’re inviting meetup groups from all our communities, this year Super Meetup is part of the “Software” day of the Virtual Summertime Series leading up to the 10th annual Philly Tech Week Sept. 21-25, 2020.

Our goal: To increase access to and visibility of technical user and support groups across memberships and those interested in joining and supporting. Support a community of local technical organizers.
