No need to check your eyes, you read that right, the Lantern Parade is back!! We’ll be marching in Patterson Park like days of yore at 7PM on Sat Oct. 23rd (rain date: Sun Oct. 24th) complete with magical illuminated floats, boisterous marching bands, stilt-walkers, and more!! Join us before the Parade for our Festival by the Pulaski Monument in Patterson Park where you can make your own lantern, eat delicious food, move your body to DJ rhythms, and peruse our Artist Market.

Attention families! Our annual Costume Contest is ON and we expect to see you and your kiddos dressed (and masked) in the spookiest, prettiest, and wildest costumes Baltimore has ever seen!! 

DAY OF SCHEDULE:
4:00pm Festival Begins! Costumed Yoga, Kids Costume Contest Registration, Lantern Making, Artists Market, Food Trucks & More!
4:30pm Kids Masked Costume Contest (Registration 4pm)
6:30pm Parade Line-up (Boat Lake)
7:00pm Parade!
 

LANTERN MAKING at Creative Alliance: OCT 9, 17 & 21 | multiple workshops available​
Is it a space ship? A jelly fish? A magical glowing orb with a hat? It’s up to you! Create a glowing lantern in these special workshops at Creative Alliance, then bring them to march in Baltimore’s only Great Halloween Lantern Parade in Patterson Park! All ages welcome, all supplies provided! RSVP

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Help us make this year’s parade the BEST YET! We need volunteers for many different locations – help carry a float, give out information, hang signs and set up the festival grounds – to make this event a success! Sign-up today!

We will be taking all COVID precautions as necessary and are so excited to be able to spend this Baltimore Halloween tradition together again, in-person! Our festival and parade will look a little different this year, but we are so happy to be making magic in Patterson Park with you all once again.
*** There will not be a beer garden or hay rides this year.
