Join Black Girls Cook as we celebrate our 5th Birthday by hosting our very first fundraising event “The BGC Perfect Pair Culinary Challenge” which will benefit our culinary arts and edible garden programs.
Modeled after the hit Food Network Show “Chopped”, this interactive cooking competition will pair 4 BGC girls with 4 local shef-testants to prepare dishes based on items inside of their mystery baskets. After each course, teams will present their dishes to a panel of celebrity chef judges. After each course, a team is eliminated and one team will be crowned the “BGC Perfect Pair”.
