Event Details

Hosted by Raquel Keller, City of Greenbelt Artist in Residence

Virtual – Zoom – $15 – Note supplies needed listed below

Learn to Draw Like Valadon! This virtual art class is led by Multi-disciplinary Artist Racquel Keller. Grab a glass of wine and join us on Zoom from the comfort of your kitchen table for a little creativity. Participants will be encouraged to draw like Valadon. Use whatever materials you have on hand but the common theme will be lots of bright colors and patterns to bring their art to life.

The Women and Wine Artists Series is a little bit of art history combined with a good dose of creativity. A number of women artists have been overlooked when it comes to art history. My hope with highlighting them here is that I will help give them some long-overdue recognition and help them become more of a household name.

Supplies Needed: Paper & pens. Optional materials: Crayons, Markers, Watercolor, Pastels …anything you have on hand.

1.5 hours.

Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn’t allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated. Anybody involved in hate speech or bullying behavior will be immediately removed from the group and no refund will be offered.

Respect Everyone’s Privacy

Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What’s shared in the group should stay in the group.
