Partying for the Pooches (December 14, 2016) Folks filled the Hon Bar to “Celebrate Knox,” a fundraiser to support the newly formed organization, Finding Knox. The program was created by Kaitlin Thomas, after her beloved pitbull, Equinox (aka Knox) was stolen from her home November 16, 2016.

Thomas and her friends spread the word and Knox’s picture via posters, social media, the Baltimore police and local media. Kaitlin suspects there was so much out there about her beloved family member, that’s why the thieves left the dog tied to a pole beneath a poster about its disappearance just 36 hours after the theft.

The campaign worked so well, Kaitlin decided to create Finding Knox to raise awareness of dog theft in Baltimore and help reunite stolen pets with their families
