Outdoor Speaker Series: Innovation in Opioid Addiction Research

Outdoor Speaker Series: Innovation in Opioid Addiction Research

Hosted by Mindgrub

May 23, 2018 – Mindgrub Headquarters

Baltimore Snap Featured Event

Summer breezes welcomed attendees to the second event in Mindgrub’s Outdoor Speaker Series. Folks mingled outside the Mindgrub offices – conveniently situated right next to Diamondback Brewing – and enjoyed food, drinks and good conversation.

That led to the evening’s highlight, speaker Dr. Mona Gahunia, Kaiser Permanente’s associate medical director of primary care strategy.

Dr. Gahunia gave the group an update on the opioid epidemic – and specifics on how it’s affecting the Baltimore area – as well as some of her organization’s innovative and technology-centered approaches in tackling the problem.
