100th Annual Oyster Roast

A big birthday for a big event. Hundreds of stalwarts turned out at the Fifth Regiment Armory for The Rotary Club of Baltimore’s annual oyster roast, reputed to be the oldest continuous running oyster roast in the country.

Folks filled the Armory to enjoy good food, good company, a silent auction, and a number of prize wheels, including the roast’s famous bacon wheel, where winners walked away with 9 pounds of the meat as the prize.
Oh…and did we mention the event’s main draw? Oysters. Lots and LOTS of oysters.
