Virtual – Donation
The Baltimore Humane Society’s Turkey Dog Trot has been upgraded to an all-week (Nov. 22-28) virtual event, instead of the original on-site Trot scheduled on Thanksgiving morning, to protect the overall community and BHS staff.
So now, you can walk, run or hike on Thanksgiving (or any time during the week) wherever you are – with or without your pup – to get some fresh air and support the Baltimore Humane Society. For those who would rather sleep in, join the fun and support our mission as a couch sweet potato! Also, you can post pics with your pup on our Facebook page to win prizes.
Your ticket price and donations directly support the care of homeless animals in need while they wait for the safe, loving homes they deserve.
The Turkey Dog Trot is made possible through the support of our community partners: M&T Bank, Homelight, Kip and Dog E. Stylz Pet Grooming & Day Care.

About Baltimore Humane Society
A crucial member of the Baltimore community for nearly one hundred years, the Baltimore Humane Society is an independent 501c3 non-profit animal shelter offering services for all stages of pet ownership. The organization works diligently to help homeless animals find necessary medical treatment, behavioral training and, ultimately, a loving forever home. Adoption fees are halved for senior animals and modified or waived for senior citizens, first responders and military personnel. The clinic offers free and low-cost spay/neuter, vaccination, and wellness services to the public. The Bmore Kind Pet Food Bank offers support for pet owners experiencing financial struggle, allowing them to keep their pets at home. The memorial park offers end-of-life options for beloved pets as well as bereavement support and grief counseling.
Refunds will not be granted for any reason.
