On May 7, 2021 at 7PM join us for readings of the selected plays with introductions from the playwrights themselves. The event will be live-streamed on our Facebook page and YouTube channel. We are proud to announce the six plays and playwrights for our 36th Annual Playwrights Festival “Eyes on the Horizon”!
Bailarín, by Ms. Durkin’s 4th grade drama class (Hampstead Hill Academy).
The Lumberjacks, by Ms. Durkin’s 2nd grade drama class (Hampstead Hill Academy).
The V-Force, by 8th graders Ryan Robinson, Wyatt Gonder, Samantha Lee, and Carson Klaff (Baltimore Lab School). This group participated in a BCS YPF Virtual Residency this year, taught by Tonnia Boykins.
How to Find a Villain, by Mekhi Thomas. Mekhi connected with us this year through our partnership with DewMore Baltimore.
The Clock, by 8th grader Ryan Pratt (St. Andrews UM Day School).
The Goths Know More Than They’re Letting On, by 11th grader Kasey Stallworth (Annapolis High School).
