It’s always tough to squeeze in a delicious local dinner, cocktails, and catching up with your AMIA besties before Archival Screening Night, amirite?  The Mid-Atlantic Regional Moving Image Archive (MARMIA) wants to help you achieve your goals by inviting you for dinner, drinks, and fun on the first floor of the historic Centre Theatre at Impact Hub Baltimore–across the street from the ASN venue, the Parkway Theatre!

For as little as a $20 donation, you can help yourself to delicious food from local restaurant Joe Squared while supporting MARMIA’s nonprofit mission to preserve and provide access to the movies and sounds that document the arts, history, and culture of the U.S. Mid-Atlantic region. Learn more about our organization and enjoy a casual, background screening of highlights from our collections while eating, drinking, and chatting with friends–you can sit or stand, talk or be silent, do jumping jacks, whatevs….we know you may have been sitting all day and we have plenty of space to play.

AMIA Member and Guest Bartender Extraordinaire Eddy Colloton will be serving up some Mid-Atlantic mixology that is sure to charm! Or you can keep it simple, straight from the can, neat, on the rocks, etc. Consume your fill and make the 2-minute jaunt across the street to enjoy the rest of your archival footage-filled evening.

It is about a 20-minute ride on the free Charm City Circulator (Purple Route) from the Inner Harbor stop right outside the Gallery Mall. When you get off at North Ave/Station North, to your left you will see the Parkway Theatre, and to your right across the street you will see the Centre Theatre marquee and that’s us! There is an app for the Charm City Circulator that gives you approximate arrival times, with buses coming every 10-15 minutes. On Thursdays, the Circulator stops running at 8pm, but there will be shuttles back to the hotel from Archival Screening Night. A Lyft or Uber from the Renaissance hotel to Impact Hub Baltimore/Centre Theatre takes approximately 15 minutes and will cost around $10.

Street parking is available for free or at meters in the surrounding neighborhood. We recommend St. Paul, Charles, North Ave, and 20th Street. The parking lot adjacent to the space charges $6 cash and can be paid at the cash box located on the old bank teller building.
