One evening. Three hours.  Clay for two is an experience that can bring people closer through shared creative art-making. Couples will experience this class taught by professional and patient teacher. Instructors will guide you through methods of centering and shaping clay forms on the potter’s wheel.  Students may select glaze finishes for pieces from our selection of oxidation ^6 palette.  Please allow approximately 3 weeks for drying and firing of finished work. 

All work produced in this session will be dishwasher and microwave safe.

Instructor: Keagan Yingling

Keagan Yingling began working with clay in 2018 at Baltimore Clayworks and has attended ceramics courses at CCBC Catonsville.  Keagan incorporates his love of horror films in to his functional ware.  He deploys vibrant dripping glazes as well as atmospheric woodfire surface on his vessels. Keagan lives in Baltimore City with his partner, their 2 cats and dog.  You can find his work on Instagram @tombstonewareceramics.
