Do you have an idea you want to turn into a reality? Join us January 2019 from 1pm-4pm for #FightBlightBmore’s launch for the Hack Hub!

Your idea can be whatever you want it to be. Join us January 19th for the launch of our incubator space and an introduction to the purpose of the Fight Blight Bmore Hack. The Hack Hub is a space that is all about creating access and opportunity in neighborhoods where incubator spaces are don’t exist. Creatives, artists, tech enthusiast, anyone with an idea and a challenge to take it to the next level should attend.

All are welcomed. Ages 14-25 are highly encouraged to attend and participate.

Fight Blight Bmore (FBB) is a social, economic and environmental justice initiative informed by the data and led by the village to rid communities of blight and stop the bleeding. FBB’s subsquent investigation of blight in Baltimore has found that there is a lack of space available for Black people particularly youth to experience technology and create process, products or services that serve the needs of people or from which to incubate ideas into businesses.To addresses this need FBB is launching the HACK HUB, a youth centered idea curation and startup space. The space will provide access to training on how take a bright idea and turn it into a prototype, on how to start a business as well as provide access to wifi, 3D printers, programmable robots and the creative collisions that occur when innovators work in close quarters. #FightBlightBmore
