FlowerMart – a time-honored rite of Spring- kicks off on Friday May 5th, 2017 11 a.m. and through Saturday May 6th 9 p.m. with everyone’s favorite traditions—lemon peppermint sticks, fantastic food, grand hats, original arts and crafts (mosaics, glasswork, jewelry, photography and more), a children’s camp and flowers, flowers and more beautiful flowers. This year, the event blooms with more fun and frivolity than ever before! It will feature live entertainment from local, regional and national recording artists (on two stages), a craft beer garden, a wine bar and over 100 vendors. And because FlowerMart 2017 will be bigger and better than ever-the hours have been extended until 9 pm. FlowerMart is a Baltimore tradition and one of the most popular events in the city—and in Maryland. But–this year’s event is — “Not Your Mother’s” Flower Mart – –it’s FlowerMart meets 2017! The best traditions with a new twist. And it’s FREE! New This Year CRAFT BEER GARDEN featuring Baltimore’s own Raven Beer and more! BOORDY VINEYARDS WINE BAR BLOSSOMS FOOD HALL This open-air food hall and outdoor café offers traditional Baltimore festival fare as well as options for the more discerning palate: • RAW BAR! Oysters, clams and mussels • Fruit smoothies and FlowerMart’s signature LEMON PEPPERMINT STICKS! • Maryland crab cakes Hon! Soft shell crabs, fried oysters, fried shrimp, crab dip, crab pretzels, burgers, hot dogs and roasted corn • Soft serve ice cream, sundaes, root beer floats and gourmet chocolates • Gyros, pad Thai, pierogies, kettle korn, pit beef, corn dogs • For 4-legged festival guests—THE DOG CHEF will offer delicious/nutritious treats!
