Event Details

Hosted by November Project Baltimore

It’s time. The 2019 Gin Riot is right around the corner and to say the stoke level is high would be an understatement. Last year around 70 runners raced their tails off, completing rounds of our P.R day before dashing across the city to finish with sets of our Friday hills. If any of that doesn’t make any sense to you, you’ve probably never been to NP….which is EVEN MORE REASON TO JOIN US!

The Gin Riot is named after The Baltimore Gin Riot, which occurred on October 4, 1808. Hundreds of sailors and civilians stormed Hampstead Hill ( Now Patterson Park) to burn gallons of gin to protest British taxation. Besides being an epic waste of gin, the Baltimore Gin Riot was one of the key moments leading up to the war of 1812….

And now it’s one of the best events of the year. It’s free. It’s tough. But most importantly it’s for everyone. There is a pace and a partner for everyone, no matter your speed or running ability.

Our after party will once again be hosted at Johnny Rad’s Pizzeria Tavern, supported by our favorite gin company, Barr Hill Gin! Stay tuned for a logistics post, but in the mean time, save that date! We promise, the #theginriot is the one thing we do during the year that you definitely shouldn’t miss. There will be prizes, there will delicious cocktails, and we’ll be surprised as hell if you don’t make at least one new friend.
