The Cavanagh House is a nonprofit, free, trade and apprenticeship program whose primary mission is to provide individuals, in need of financial stability, with the training, opportunities and support needed to learn the trades of upholstery or fashion and gain a career. Its secondary mission is to help revitalize these vital but diminishing industries in Baltimore by sending skilled individuals out into these fields.

The Cavanagh House is proud to launch a new Home and Fashion Show, “REVIVE” on June 8,2023, at the Rita Rossi Colwell Center ( formerly the Columbus Center). The event will showcase collections from students in our fashion and upholstery programs, award- couture designers and tailors, and entries from other Baltimore fashion programs.

Hosted by The Cavanagh House and emceed by special guest, Marianne Bannister, this will be a fun filled evening of amazing food by Santoni’s Catering, open beer and wine bar, a fashion show, and a live auction of upholstered pieces you won’t want to miss.

Featured designers and Baltimore fashion programs include Ella Pritsker, Christopher Schafer, Nicole Myrick, Yele’, Jacob Heath, Eryn Boggs, The Cavanagh House Fashion Design and Upholstery Programs, Maryland Center Fashion Design, NDP Fashion Club

A new wave of talented designers and upholsterers will give Baltimore the momentum to “REVIVE” it’s fashion and upholstery industries. With your support, The Cavanagh House can contribute to this revival.
