Let freedom ring! The family & staff at Ida B’s Table is overjoyed to host award-winning culinary journalist, author and community activist Toni Tipton Martin at our very special Juneteenth celebration on Tuesday, June 19th. Join us for an unforgettable evening of conversation, song, cookbooks, fellowship — and a multi-course dinner from Chef David Thomas. The menu will be inspired by traditional Juneteenth dishes (see here for David’s The Local Palate feature on the subject) and by The Jemima Code: Two Centuries of African American Cookbooks by Toni Tipton Martin.

– tickets are $125 pp, $200 per couple
– event will run from 7-10pm
– tickets include 4-5 courses, non-alcoholic beverages, a signed copy of The Jemima Code by Toni Tipton Martin
