Since launching in 2019, Kiva Baltimore has supported local entrepreneurs by lending more than $250,000 in crowdfunded, interest-free loans.
We are thrilled to support local businesses through the collective power of their communities and the Baltimore Corps network! Our passion is in helping build a supportive ecosystem around emerging Baltimore entrepreneurs by connecting them to equitable lending, business development support, local resources and meaningful relationships. We’re excited to continue growing Black, Brown, and Women-owned Businesses and celebrate another year of success with our annual Kiva Baltimore Pitch Competition!

The virtual Pitch Competition will feature local business owners competing for more than $5,000 in prizes, a panel of judges, and guest speakers from our community.

Kiva is a nonprofit that underwrites zero-percent-interest, zero-fee loans up to $15,000 by connecting everyday investors, lending as little as $25, with entrepreneurs in our own communities. As Kiva’s operating partner locally, Baltimore Corps helps guide business owners through the Kiva loan process and connect entrepreneurs to opportunities available within our network.
