Appearing throughout the Mid-Atlantic region since 1998, the Rhonda Robinson Trio/Quartet has distinguished itself at concerts, events and festivals, opening for poet/activist Amiri Baraka and Blue Ark Ensemble at Univ. of Baltimore and as the selected band for “A Night at Ethel’s Place”, a fundraiser for Concert Artists of Baltimore honoring legendary Baltimore jazz vocalist, Ethel Ennis.  The quartet was also selected to perform at the Billie Holiday Project Festival in 2014 and asked again in 2015 to play for the Billie Holiday Project Centennial Festival in Upper Fells Point. WEAA 88.9 FM jazz radio selected Rhonda as a panelist along with Maysa, Navasha Daya, Gabrielle Goodman and others for the 2013 Women in Jazz Panel Discussion and Jam Session at the Eubie Blake National Jazz Institution and Cultural Center.  Since 2010, she has been the featured vocalist for Holy Comforter Lutheran Church’s JAZZ VESPERS services in Baltimore.  She now also serves as Director of the Jazz Ministry. Rhonda is a longtime member of the Baltimore Jazz Alliance’s “Jazz for Kids” Quintet performing at schools, museums and community events. She is known for her “beautiful” voice, singing in 8 different languages in a classic jazz style with a progressive edge.  For more information, call 410-467-7814 or visit www.RhondaRobinsonMusic.com

Pianist Justin Taylor recently completed his degree in jazz performance at Towson University and is in high demand for concerts and events.  Bassist Blake Meister earned degrees in jazz and bass performance from Peabody Conservatory and Catholic University.  He is on the faculty at Peabody as well as playing at many venues and events in the region.
