Add a boost – not a bore – to your wardrobe…

#shopsmall is not just a nationwide movement to help communities thrive, it’s a chance to show off our personal style right here in Baltimore. I took a walk on the Brightside (PUN intended) and found fashion in Fed Hill – aka #BrightsideBoutique, voted one of Baltimore’s Best New Boutiques with a second location in Fells Point. Decked out for the holidays on the outside and tricked out on the inside with a slew of newfound loves, this was exactly the fashion boost my closet needed..

I am a 90’s chick…at least when it comes to this fashion trend. The choker – as sported here by Amy Packett, a Brightside sales associate – is this season’s No. 1 biggest comeback of the season. Both delicate and different, any style choker is on the “it” list for favorite accessories.

From feminine velvet ribbon to leather wrap around looks with studded metals and chained hardware, it’s a DIY trend that screams sexy and bold without breaking the bank.

Hang on to your hat! I hope you agree – Preakness isn’t the only time we can don a new lid to feel #fashionforward in Baltimore. Punctuate your look, hide a bad hair day and get ready as cold weather kicks into gear. Top things off this fall/winter season and sport a floppy fedora, a knitted beanie or a chic and cozy cashmere cap. #Brixtonmfg #style

Elevate your #holidayshopping to the next level. I found myself swooning over this sexy, boho-chic, maxi-romper combination by #StolenHearts known as the No Quarter Dress. This sure standout is a perfect choice for this year’s holiday party at an affordable price. Wear it dressy or even casual, paired with your favorite booties.

You can ‘literally’ add fun to your wardrobe in a way that no other accessory can with a #GraphicTee. Today’s fashion scene is obsessed with the English language and so am I! Be a conversation starter by wearing this major trend right now. Some are suitable for #giftgiving while others you may not want to bring home to Momma.

Style your T under a plaid button down, a silver choker, and distressed jeans. I promise – your fashion will speak for itself! #JacVanek only @BrightsideBoutique
