Duckpin Consignment Shop

Pardon the puns while we have fun bowling into spring fashions…

First ball of the game and I bowled a strike one Saturday afternoon @Duckpinconsignment on York Road. This well-appointed boutique of incredible fashion finds scored a perfect “10” in my book, with high-end designer labels, found in pristine condition. I’ve never seen a consignment shop look so brand-spanking new! #LOVE #ShoppingMadeFun

Fashion stylist, Andrea, owns Duckpin Consignment with her husband. Together, they aim to please. Every item is inspected with a fine-tooth comb, so clients can rest assured they’re getting authentic designer merchandise. While on my Spring #shoppingspree, designer finds ranged from Louis Vuitton to Kate Spade to Christian Louboutin, all of which are right up my ‘alley’.

Oh, and to find a little bit-of #BoldGold to sweeten up the jewelry box – a mahogany armoire filled with iconic #MichaelKors immediately grabbed my attention on the first floor of this spacious boutique. So clean and neatly displayed, it is hard to think this is consignment and of course, I wanted it all! @DuckpinConsignment, I couldn’t ‘spare’ myself to pick just one.

From the moment you walk in the door, you feel like the ‘kingpin’ in your own home, with a myriad of options from which to choose. Near the fireplace, a host of designer apparel is at your beck-and-call. As you move through the open space, music pipes into each naturally-lit room, creating the perfect ambience for your shopping experience.

@DuckpinConsignment, there are no ‘out of bounds’. Every nook and cranny is utilized with class and sophistication. With each peek around the corner, you’ll find another room meticulously merchandised. Bowl a strike this spring with stripes in any direction, including asymmetric. Love this halter maxi by #TrinaTurk – cleverly tucked away on the second floor.

Play the game in pleats, and bowl your best in this sexy, #neveroutofstyle and #figureflattering wraparound dress by #Sweetees. In a raspberry stretch fabric, this luxury look is clearly a ‘lucky shot’ for anyone perusing the second floor.

Keep your hand on the clutch and put some spring in your step as #KateSpade gives it to us ‘twice in one frame’ with these pretty pieces. #ClassicClutch

Textured fabric knocks down ‘all the pins’ with a touch of roses and ruching in this wear-with-anything, white three-quarter sleeve look by An Ren. One lane over, find a bevy of wonderful #wedges –– yellow corked heels by #JacobiesFootwear and fuschia T-strap sandals #WHBM – time to start thinking #PreaknessFashion

For all you #denimheads, there’s a lot of creativity happening in the #jeanpool right now. Old school is the new school with retro fitting, high-waisted and distressed jeans to those that are painted and patchworked – it’s all right now. I found the motherlode in Duckpin’s den. #ParasucoJeans #OfficialNYDJ #HudsonJeans #Ink

#TiffanyandCo never loses its luster – a.k.a. the little blue box that never disappoints. If you’re lucky, you might just score big on your next visit @DuckpinConsignment, located at 2350 York Road in Timonium.

#Designerlabels pop up everywhere you turn @Duckpinconsignment. It was a ‘split’ decision when these #Prada strappy stilettos appeared and #inmysize to boot! Then the magic happened…Andrea revealed this #DianeVonFurstenburg sequin tank up for grabs. Decisions, decisions…

Depending on what lane you plan to play in after dark, a host of stunning treasures suitable for your next special event can be found in Andrea’s eveningwear department. #AllenBSchwartz commands attention at the center of this showing of special occasion dressing. Choices are endless, yet not overwhelming for dinner dates to formal events, to #prom and #motherofthebride

In bowling, it’s called ‘All the Way’ which means finishing the game with all strikes. Well, I found my Lucky 13 while hyperventilating over this copper sequin #NWT gown. #Halston is my hero for any special occasion. Now, if only I had a black-tie affair to go to this weekend….
