What to Wear: Valentine’s Day

What to Wear: Valentine’s Day

Ahhhh…Valentines Day. Love it or hate it, it happens every year and you’re gonna need an outfit. My first v-day with Mr. Veida was spent in the Bahamas being wooed. Fast forward, last v-day we went to spin class and had strip mall sushi. And well, single Veida totally painted the town on Valentine’s days past. But, I digress.  Onto what matters…shopping!

I popped into Raina Dawn in the Quarry (2582 Quarry Lake Dr, Baltimore, MD 21209) earlier this week and found a ton of options to wear on Valentine’s day and beyond.

The first thing I spotted was this rose-colored lace dress by Saylor that happened to be on sale. Obsessed! Not to mention you can wear it year-round. AND, for all you die-hards who love thematic dressing —- Pink counts as red when it comes to Valentine’s Day. (Saylor Dress $184.80 marked down from $264, Photo courtesy Google Images)

For those of you who aren’t going fancypants (or just prefer a more casual look) this For Love & Lemons blouse is super cute. Pair it with some jeans and you’re good to go. (Blouse $145, Photo courtesy Google Images)

In case you’re in the market for new denim (who isn’t?) this pair for Agolde jeans caught my eye. The wash is super versatile, and the distressed look is a nice touch. Not to mention, they don’t break the bank at $138. (Photo courtesy Google Images)

I love this coat by Heartloom. It’s technically “cream,” but it looks millennial pink to me. Dress it up with the Saylor dress or dress it down with the For Love & Lemons top and jeans. You’ll get a ton of use out of it into the spring. (Heartloom Jacket, $178, Photo courtesy heartloom.com)

These red Schutz sandals are the perfect addition to any Valentine’s day ensemble. I have a VERY similar pair of Manolos that cost twice as much as these and you can barely tell the difference. If that’s not reason enough to buy them, I don’t know what is. (Schutz Sandals $180, Photo courtesy schutz.com)

AND, no matter what you end up doing that night, make sure to have fun. Do not be THAT girl who sits around moping because she’s single or gets mad at her significant other for not being romantic enough. xx
